Initial reports suggest that Everton fans have voted in favour of the proposed ground move to Kirkby, Knowsley.

The suggested move has caused a deep divide between Evertonians due to the location of Kirkby - which is not within the boundaries of Liverpool.

Whilst expected to be a close vote, SkySports have revealed that fans have backed the move which involves the regeneration of Kirkby town centre and the backing of Tesco.

This news will come as a relief to those who support the move following the release of the Bestway Scotland Road "Loop" site proposals last week.

Meanwhile, Everton are finally closing the net on Nigerian striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni after protracted negotiations. The Boro player is expected to sign for the Toffees before Saturdays game against Blackburn.

[Poor language removed] hope its a yes, I will be postponing the lesson I'm giving for 10mins while I check the Official Site.

Which by the way is true, I feel sick right now thinking about it.... please say its a yes!

EVERTON!!

A couple of hundred Evertonians on other sites saw the news too by the looks fo it - thank **** for that thought I was hallucinating for a minute!!! :D

Terrible

Very sad news ... sad that easy propaganda, without many important information, persuade majority about so terrible location !
If you will try find worse LOCATION, you can´t ...

RS moving to Stanley Park; Everton - first, traditional Liverpool club moving to Kirkby ...
It´s white flag, mates.

Im from Kirkby, [Poor language removed] off with your propaganda mate before you start tarring everyone as fools (in a Mr T accent).

I could find a load more worse locations for our ground so stop talking out of your arse.

The vote will probably be a no tomorrow anyway and Sky have [Poor language removed] up.
