I need to see the reaction on RAWK

They won't care after our absolute spineless collapse against them. They never lose to us and are closing in on top 4 whilst we are bigging up that our owner has invested in a city centre building which may or may not allow us to move some offices there. I'm sure they're frothing at the mouth.

"Hey Bill, the Liver Building is up for sale... you thinking what I'm thinking?"

Brilliant

i think its a smart move to help us win a derby! the liver birds are moved to our new ground and used as urinals! winner

lol

Brilliant.

Imagine he claims proprietary rights to the Liver Birds and takes legal action to stop the RS using them as an icon :pint2:

We can but dream. Forget the ground (which they've managed to deflect their anger well towards) that sort of move would be top draw popcorninf and get a huge reaction. There'd be no more derision to him then!

Throw in another factor mate, we are gonna have to deal with the world heritage site in regards to building the new stadium, our owner now owns the most iconic building in the City and the centre piece of the UNESCO world heritage status the City has.

On so many levels this is absolutely brilliant

Is there any chance of us copywriting the Liverbird do you think mate? This would make me laugh more than even getting a new stadium to be fair.

I'd let them use it, free of charge if they made it blue and has "Liverpool's 2nd team" alongside t :D

Nah don't think so, unless it was the exact copy from the buildings which the rs one isn't (and i believe they have the copyright on the style they use anyway), what i would say though is that should he (or the club) wish to use the liverbird on anything now, then the rs's trying to block it on copyright grounds will be massively undermined by him owning this building

But it is amusing - then again i have absolutely no idea what Moshiri is thinking, just know that for a myriad of reasons it is a brilliant piece of business for him to have done this.
