Echo all over it now with a load of articles about the scum bag activity last night.

Took them a while but there's that much floating round online now that I imagine their hand was forced into reporting it.

Sadly it will be down to "football fans" and result in us being tarred with the same brush when God forbid we next win something.

Same as Heysel was "football fans" and we got clobbered with the aftermath.

EFC has already been stung once by that lots actions time to take a stand and pipe up.

Yeah of course the police can be more proactive.

But I prefer to blame the people who acted like idiots for what happened. Bringing fireworks down the pier and firing them at buildings doesn't just happen by chance.

You can't expect scum retards to behave like anything else, despite SOS claiming otherwise.

The Police knew this was coming and effectively surrendered to them AGAIN as per the Man City debacle.

he will do, he’s the lining them up. He’s after that rat that heads up our police and put political pressure on him. Their club will be next

There's so much hypocrisy in here.

If Everton had just won the league after all of these years, can you imagine the scenes? Yes we wouldn't have targetted the Liver Building but there's the same fair amount of scumbags in our fanbase too that may have done something to their L1 shop or something similar to rub it in to their rivals.

How can you sit there and slam them for ignoring lockdown rules. If Everton won the league, it would be the exact same end result.

They're not scum or some different breed, they're your neighbours, your friends etc...

Don't hate on them, it's just bitter. They're enjoying their moment and hopefully one day we'll get ours.

People would have went out to celebrate. No fireworks would have been aimed at any buildings.

Behave

Sigh nothing as yet from EFC.

Imagine had thousands of Everton fans caused chaos, setting off fireworks at the Liverbuildings / LFC offices whilst folk getting stabbed and officers attacked with missiles.

The Red Echo and Kopite media would be all over us.

Show some balls EFC and call them out.

What exactly should the club be saying? None of our fans were there getting involved, it had little to do with us other than the public knowledge that the club has offices there.

Any statement would be treated with ridicule

According to Sky, LFC have issued a joint statement with Liverpool Council and Merseyside police condemning the behaviour of fans and asking them to celebrate safely.

Looks forced to me. Why issue a joint statement?

There is no way on earth Everton are going to publicly complain about what happened last night.

There’s no point in it. It would only be interpreted as sour grapes.

No need for any statement. They are embarrassing themselves enough as it is.

Just send them a bill if any damage was done to our bit of the Liver building

The only statement EFC should put out should say

"Following last nights events at the Pier Head we have been contacted by Evertonians expressing their sadness at such events and offering to contribute towards any damage caused to one of the most iconic buildings in the World. Evertonians are also relieved that nobody has died.

Other than that you should contact the the * club reponsible , the fans of that club, Merseyside Police and ask them to explain their own behaviour.
Its nothing to do with Everton Football Club "

Because they are smashing up OUR city and trying to burn down our club offices.

The club absolutely should be calling that shower out - im sick of us being the frail bullied mother of an undisciplined rat offspring.

Yes and THEIR club has put out a public statement condemning it, because it’s them at fault. It has zero, zip, nada to do with Everton Football Club and OUR fanbase

And we wonder why we are being airbrushed out of our own city - Kopite Murals everywhere, news outlets forgetting there are 2 clubs in this city.

Because one is happy sat quiet letting those rats do as they please.

We know what they are like. Who cares about the media or perceptions.

Its not like the reds are universally liked by neutrals around the country. Quite the opposite. Only neutral I know who actually likes them is a Toon fan!!
