they brought it to merseyside in the first place too ..... because anfield had to have that magic atmosphere ... that saw them lose and get dumped out of the cup.

The only reason that fixture went ahead was because everyone was convinced they would win and go through. Never mind my mum having to go to work on a bus full of people who had traveled from the European virus epicentre at the time. Or anyone else in the city

Why does it matter where he's from? He's a rs and supporter of the club. All this chat that he's not from the city is another tactic to divert the blame. What about all the vermin standing next to him cheering him on? I bet they're from Lancashire too right.

Sorry, the only reason I mention it is to highlight the evidence against it being the lad who was being wrongly accused. Totally agree with what you say

No I was asking what has happened that the sister club in the city didn't have the grace to say well done. That was before the Pier Head incident, and I doubt anyone at that even knew what Everton had or had not done. I am saying that there is bitterness and asking why

Probably a Chelsea fan mate, same colour shirt.arguing with a red mate yesterday, trying to tell me it was red and blues the other night causing carnage, usually a sensible fella, but as soon as it turns to football changes personality.

Every club most likely have a template that they use every season, with a minor change each year. Immediate challengers would usually have their manager write a more personal letter to his opposite at the club.
