Sick of this derby being about as competitive as Chelsea vs. Fulham. The only positive I can take is that most of the American kopites who jumped on board after Istanbul have barely seen their team win anything, either.

Sorry for me they're like the errant puppy who keeps pooing in your house. There's no point forgiving them and moddycoddling them as they'll just do it again. I'm sure we'll be great at Goodison between now and the end of the season, wouldn't surprise me if we beat Chelsea even. We'll roar home in 7th, go on about half year form etc. but nothing has changed. Until the slap that is needed is administered we will rinse and repeat next season. Sentimentality needs to be put aside and the bulk of these players shipped out. I'm fed up of Everton and until August next season and hopefully a new team is in place I'm not believing the latest cycle of their 'we're sorry, it's different this time' performances.

It is annoying isn't it, lucky deflection, massively offside, this the one where they had their biggest liability sent off and our best player was out for 9 months as a result?, and then freak handball last min penalty.

I refuse to believe the trophyless luckless everton i support is a team that was once "the mersey millionaires", multiple title and cup winners. It just doesn't seem viable to me, i've just seen nothing but years and years of hard luck stories and heartbreak.

still, at least we're not villa.
