Everton January 2022 Transfer Thread

Realistically even if we do make signings in Jan they will be on deadline day. So Benitez has 2 months to survive which I can’t see happening.

does anyone know what is happening with Sigurdsson? Will he be back, are we still paying his wages or will that be freed up at some point before his contract expires?

Any money spent in January will be a waste of money.

We need an overhaul not more rubbish players signed in desperation

Err no it wouldn't!

Mina never fit, Keane and Godfrey looking hopeless, Doucoure/Allan get injured replaced with Delph/Davies/G'bamin, the forward threat of Rondon, Iwobi and Gordon?

Never even mentioned the right back situation, 3 years and counting?

Influx of players will increase the morale of the team and fans, otherwise first week February, in the bottom three its going to be toxic!

Good players are generally not available in January

Do not spend, just sell.

Bad to consider Rico & DCL going (would be ~ £120m total, no?), what dross can we offload to free-up purchase?

For me:

Tosun, Sigs
& Iwobi+ 2 from Delph, Gbamin, Allan and Gomez (all semi-injured misfits doing the same job).

That creates opportunity for our youth, creates funds, clears negative dross hanging around the squad f***king up our mentality and training.
Bar Allan you could get rid of all of them and not even notice them gone.
