Everton January 2022 Transfer Thread

Thing is one's our best defender so we then need to replace him and bringing in a player of that quality takes £20m.

Then, Allan is a good player if used properly but is being played in a midfield two, tasked with being a sitting player, which exposes his flaws and stops him from being able to do what he's good at.

18 months left. Both half crocked. Both on high wages.

This is what we worked out on here a few days ago -

We have an estimate of 8 mil from James transfer, plus 10 mil from his wages. We also had roughly around 3 to 5 mil left over from the summer.
I am not sure, we failed with a bid of around 30 mil for that south american dude, 8 mil for the rangers RB and 15 mil for Dumfries. There MUST be something to those deals.

I'd really like to see Zakaria come to ours, he'd add legs and some steel in Midfield which we are sadly lacking and allow us to move permanently away from 4-4-2, which is prehistoric now.
In a dream world, I'd like Bowen from West Ham, there are only two tiny problems I can see on the horizon is that regard mind, one, he wouldn't come here and two, we can't afford him.
Missed that boat, we were in for him yonks ago.

Aye, in earlier times, under Moyes, he's the type of 'take a chance' signing we would've made, like Cahill, Lescott etc.
A good, promising, up and coming player with good stats and potential that was ready to make the step up. West Ham did what we should've done and they've got a real forward on their hands now. The more I see of him, the more impressed I am.

Totally agree. We have so many like this, that we were after and missed out on.
