I wonder if the proposed upcoming changes to FFP are having an effect on our transfer business?

From next year if the plans are agreed FFP becomes a lot more focused on wages than profit/loss.

When you factor James wages, Digne/Allans wages maybe the aim is offload these players in advance and bring in replacements on lesser wages.

I like Allan but he's 31 and will only have 12 months left on his deal come the summer - I wouldn't loan him but if someone offered a decent fee for him I would take it tbh although I think its paper talk.

Im guessing Holgate and Allan may be loans but with guaranteed purchases in the summer.

Two good bits of business if so...depending on the numbers.

Id we can move Digne and those two on then we'd have 6 more to punt aside from those out of contract in the summer.
