Iwobi, Tosun, wouldn't surprise me if Walcott was him too...I think it's taken me until tonight to genuinely appreciate the mess we are in.
I knew things were bad, but I genuinely had no idea that our owner was such a nutcase that he'd try to push players on our manager when we are on the brink of a relegation battle.
You'd think after Tosun and Iwobi he'd have learned. But no.
We will never be successful while Moshiri is in charge. I am just hoping now that he sells up after the stadium is delivered and he doesn't relegate us in the meantime
I tell you what, if you promise to DM everyone you have called out on this subject to apologise that you were wrong about Benitez when he inevitably fails, I will promise to publicly apologise to you if we finish above 12th this year and above 10th next year if Benitez is still in charge. Not too much to ask, is it?
Deal?
They don't.Why do people let one person dominate the forum?
You could have just said no thanks!I’ve said many times that I think we have a squad somewhere between 11th-13th in terms of quality with everyone fit. Why would I take a bet to finish above 12th when we’ve had half a season now and barely seen DCL Richarlison Mina and had Docuoure out for a long period of time. Seeing them all together with Gray and Allan even once this season seems to be almost impossible. I’ve said before this is a bottom half squad, that’s where we’ll finish.
I’ve not said anywhere (I don’t think) that Benitez will finish high up in the league this season or even next season. I’ve said that the benefits of stable management in the long term will help fix some of the fundamental issues at this club and stop this cycle of firing managers, but most importantly get rid of some of these horrendous players from the squad such as Coleman Kenny Keane Holgate Davies Iwobi Delph Siggurdson Tosun.
I’m also not in the market for taking bets where if I lose I have to message 100s of people probably in the next few weeks, whereas there’s a two season time limit on me winning for one person to go ‘you were probably right but…’. No thanks.
The mob will get what they want I feel because I think the players can smell blood again and will probably have him under the bus in the next few league games and he’ll get fired. I won’t really care, people will go overboard about how it was all Benitez but I think almost everyone by now surely recognises that most of these players aren’t up to it at Everton. If they see another manager off it just increases the work the next manager has to do and decrease dthe resources available to him to do it.
SozThey don't.
There's thousands of posts a day. The idiots who argue with him are to blame. lol
You've been here long enough to know better than to get into a, ahem, debate with Dave.
I know, but it's fun because he thinks he's some kind of savant. You've been here long enough to know better than to get into a, ahem, debate with Dave.
You bring it all on yourself lollol
Are we?I had to double check which thread I was in. Come on, less of the sniping and bitterness. We're better than this.
We are notAre we?
Jesus, no wonder he feels the need to post so much guff with acolytes like you up his hoop.
Benitez took over a squad that finished on 59 points and has made it a hell of a lot worse and has an absolutely appalling record that has gone in for 3 months, surpassing even Mike Walkers start here. But you knew that already didn’t you?
Koeman took over a squad totally bereft of anything and got them into Europe.
I could try and make it simpler for you but it’s probably a waste of time.
I might actually trust Benitez more than Moshiri at this pointdoes anyone trust Moshiri to appoint someone decent after Benitez given this (and Benitez) though?
Some if them aren't up to it but largely the same squad was 4th a year ago today. I'd argue that it's stronger now than it was.The mob will get what they want I feel because I think the players can smell blood again and will probably have him under the bus in the next few league games and he’ll get fired. I won’t really care, people will go overboard about how it was all Benitez but I think almost everyone by now surely recognises that most of these players aren’t up to it at Everton. Prefer a Tom-Tom (Davies?)Gbamin?
Mike Ashley is looking for a new club allegedly, I`d take him over the clown we got, only concern he probably hasnt got enough money....
