The worry is when Allan inevitably gets injured.
Will have to rely on JPG, Onyango or Holgate to play defensive midfield and that is pretty frightening in a relegation battle.

I try not to fall out with anyone but I’m thinking of the rest of this season. Doucoure is out for a month and Gomes Delph Davies cannot he relied on. Townsend is out of form and Iwobi is, Iwobi. We are lacking in that area big time

Ross Barkley is crap, though. I think he isn't a real option, though. We'll get someone in to give our midfield some energy and intelligence (that excludes Ross from the list).

The issue is we have used our loans so we literally need people heading out of contract or happy to be released. Personally I’d be all in for Lingard but seems we can’t get him on the deal we want.
Surely sending AEG back to open up a loan for Ali would be a better option too

We've used our loans for the premier league, not abroad. But that usually takes a scouting team which we don't have.
