Cant see any other signing except Gana on loan.

The front 3 is sorted with DCL, Richarlison and Gray and the defence I cant see being bolstered unless Holgate left which looks unlikely.

The one thing we lack in our whole team are players capable of keeping possession, VDB is technically very good, if Frank plays him in a 3 he could end up a decent signing, Alli also.
But still think we badly need a CH and DM to shore up our soft back line.

It's almost like selling unwanted players on big wages is.... difficult.

Yet here we are taking Dele off Spurs when he hasnt turned up for them as 3 year!!

Why is redcafe full of United fans saying he needs to play as a second striker then and acting puzzled that we have signed Ali as well...

They also say he isn't quick or strong enough to play the 6 role in the premier league...

Yeah, strikes me as more short termism/ lack of any coherent thought or planning going into these signings.

Both seem like they play better as spare man in a midfield three, neither hardworking ball winners, neither creative players, both players that will get on the end of things and pop up in the box. There’s a place for that and we don’t have goals in our midfield but not much use if we continue to play two in midfield - and presumably we will because we’ve got a load of wingers/wide men in the squad.

I’m not really for adding any other journeyman averageness to the squad. If we want that then we can keep the players that are here already, not adding more.
