Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

It shouldn’t have come to last minute panic buying we NEED players we’ve NEEDED players since the summer. Nothing has changed we still need them players and we need even more players come the summer again. Would have been nice to of got 2 bedded into the squad and that’s 2 less players needed come the summer and 2 players already up to speed with squad and tactics. Beginning of next season is going to be a 💩 show either too many new faces or a load of the crap we’re hoping to move on get contracts reduced or otherwise they shouldn’t be getting a sniff of a new contract. Worst thing that could of happened has happened 3 wins which has papered over the cracks oh we will be ok well I hope the poor work behind the scenes doesn’t come back to bite us and that we’ve relied on 3 teams worse than us.

January buys are by and large usually 💩.🤷‍♂️

Thelwell had a whole month to make something happen other than alcaraz. I know funds are very limited, but that's what he is there for, make deals happen. This has been yet another disappointing jan transfer window imo
For me is still has not solved the problem of bringing in pace in the team, i think will be the end of him when his deal ends

Thelwell had a whole month to find a player that improves us within our budget. Context is important. No club is making life altering signings.

We changed managers half way through, what targets Kopite Kev had for Dyche won’t have been what Moyes liked and what Moyes liked we might not have had funds for till the summer
