Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

You know what, im not gonna dress this up.

Im disappointed we couldnt add another body or 2, but I also dont ignore the many factors that lead to us keeping our powder dry.

A chance has been taken, a gamble, now we need to see if it pays off.

If we stay up, which seems likely, we then need to attack the Summer transfer window with vigour and haste.

If theres a plan, then it needs to bear fruit.

Over to you Dan.
Until I see improvements in our recruitment then I will remain sceptical. I dont think we target the right players or prioritise the right positions.

I feel that Moyes has been let down a bit here. If we stay up we have a huge amount of work to do in the summer. I'm not even sure we can fix all the problems in one summer, with so many players leaving.

Signing a couple of players now would have helped make the summer more manageable.

I agree. It’s either ballsy or we’ve ballsed it up.

We don’t know what TFG’s plans are from this side of the summer.

I’m not sure we’ll be able to judge them and this approach until September.
