Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

Think there might be a spot of confusion in here at the moment, the whole Moyes buys from the Championship thing I think might have come from some clickbait story the other week that our summer business would be targeting the better players in that league, hence the links to the likes of Neil and Fellows.
The thing is, we start getting quoted 20/25mil which seems to be the going rate for young championship players and we won’t be buying many. Better value abroad

I'm sure there will be a few frees and loans in the mix, also the likes of Dan Neil (if we go back in for him) only have a year left so will cost lest than £20m imo.

Watched some of the leeds sunderland game the other night didnt really stand out, alot more people will kno more than me about him but feeel we can get better

De Cuyper - LB
Tzolis - Wide player
Onyedika - DM (This guy looks proper class)
Jashari - CM
As a Belgian myself, I would more recommand for Everton to have a look at Jaoquin Seys (plays as wel as RB and LB) and Chemsdine Talbi (skillful RW). Both are very promising young players and are having a breakthrough season. Future internationals players for Belgium (or Morocco for Talbi).

There are several other young players to get on a good price in Belgium, definitely a championship Everton should look at.

So if we want Delap (I don't think we are in the mix tbh) then it looks like we are going to be up against Man Utd and Chelsea.

He will definitely be in demand, which makes the activation of City’s buy back clause highly likely. Would City sell to United or Chelsea? Could City use him as a means of getting Branthwaite?

Who knows? But I don’t see City selling him to United.

City have just bought 3 CB I don't see them wanting Branthwaite, still think he is here next season tbh. Ipswich will no doubt sell if they go down, I have a feeling they might just pull clear though.

Has to be a LB & a RW coming through the door in Jan.

Left backs
Rayan Ait-Nouri (Wolves) they dont have much wiggle room with PSR and need to spend. Perhaps they sell in order to strengthen other areas?

Jorrel Hato (Ajax) the next star off the conveyor belt

Tyrick Mitchell (Palace) out of contract in the summer. Perhaps they take a low fee for him in Jan.

Adrien Truffert (Rennes) good all round player who should be in the French side.

Lewis Hall (Newcastle) perhaps they sacrifice him for PSR

Milos Kerkez (Bournemouth) Some talent this kid

Joaquin Seys (Brugge) Young player to develop

Yeah I mentioned Seys previously ;)

We beat out arsenal for Miralles way back when, depends on the lad though, both Chelsea and United he will see having spent 70m plus on a striker only to discard them after a season, both clubs often changing managers too.

Delap seems from his interviews and actions to be a rare mature/grounded lad - a few of the city graduates do actually (it's a big reason I like Mcatee), he could view us as career wise at least for the next 2-4 seasons as the best long term move out of the three.

I think if we want him we can get him actually and sane goes for Mcatee.
