Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

No
Spend 2.5mil on sacking dyche too
Wouldn't get much of a player for that these days anyway unless our scouting has drastically improved
Sure, if that's all it is. But if the difference restricts getting in better players I'd take the new players all day long.
I mean getting in the likes of Mourinho, Southgate orPotter is likely to get us relegated at this stage of the game imo

There is no evidence that Ndiaye can play central mate .:)

No chance, he'd come in and galvanise them. The attitude would be as good as it could be upon pain of death.

He'd have every player sweating blood.

Not who i think we need to rebuild but no way he relegates us lol
I think your overestimating his way to get players 'sweating blood' etc. It's not a if they aren't pushed pretty hard by Dyche.
If you think the players will be starstruck into playing better this type of thing may turn out to be a weakness by the time the season ends.
Who knows, but get the feeling there's an imbalance in personalities and unhealthy cliques withing this squad. I'd argue he doesn't have the characters around to mould the team and do what he does best.
His tactics may not gain any ground either, Pl ain't what it used to be and may end up resembling Dyche more than we'd like

A new coach won't necessarily get a better turn from these players. Sacking Dyche at the expense of new first team players may not be wise. Maybe get a 6 point new manager bounce but if we're scrapping at the end of season with Wolves, Palace Leceister with the same team we're more likely to go down
That 6 points bounce although not guaranteed would be most welcome.... Personally think it's a risk sacking him now.... But I don't want him around next season for the overhaul and new stadium.

If he keeps us up again I'd give him a real big golden handshake, thanks Sean but be on you're way now thanks.

Yep that exactly how I feel. If he doesn't go now he's got to before the move

0% chance Dyche sanctions a sale for Doucoure, he is his gold standard for ineffective football. Nailed on to be offered a contract extension.
As if dead man walking Dyche would have any say in it 😂.

And if he thinks that's grounds for constructive dismissal, bring it on baby.
