Would definitely make sense considering Moyes’ past success with Championship players and he plays the same position as Jarrod Bowen who he developed into a top player at WHU.

One of the reasons I’d be against Weir is precisely because he’s friendly with Moyes. I don’t want the DOF and manager to be cosy, the DOF should be constantly demanding the manager does better, and vice versa. The manager gets to appoint his staff but he shouldn’t be appointing his DOF.

Its just wishful thinking from people wanting to "put the band back together " so to speak. Taking any member of the recruitment/coaching staff from Brighton is always a risk imo as whilst I'm sure they are very qualified and good at what they do (They wouldn't be there otherwise) but EVERYTHING at Brighton is dependent on the data and it impacts stuff both on pitch and off pitch. Now its not restricted to Brighton, other clubs do use it like Hearts and Como but you pay for it but I don't imagine its cheap.
