Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

True but we have the likes of Tim, Garner and McNeil to return. I’m wary of spreading things too thin and just ending up with squad meat. A quality 10 could be much more of a game changer. Replace the Broja loan to flesh things out elsewhere.

Didnt watch today but i think we still need a RW and a ACM at the very least.

Dont forget theres loads to do in the summer so 3 deals now would go a long way to help.

The way Moyes is talking though it looks like 3 are perhaps not far off as he seems confident.

As much as RW and LB remain long term issues. Today highlighted the need for a more progressive CAM. Our biggest weakness is the lack of passing and composure continues to put us in a pickle. Some pace and composure through the middle would go a long way. The rumour was probably blag but that lad from Strasbourg looked like a great long term options.

Fair enough although maybe I mean more how we balance the use of the budget. The talk seems to be we can add 10m of amortisation so 40m spent.

Just wonder whether if so rather than two 20m players or three 13m players could we maybe spend 35m on a number 10 who can make an instant difference, maybe 5m on Walker Peters for the squad, then a loan.

Just feels to me that with that bit of genuine quality in that Doucoure role a lot of other things would click into place.
