I wouldn't mind a reasonable bid, but I can't fathom Leeds even entertaining the idea. They will give us the runaround again and move the goalposts like last time even if we did. They clearly don't like us

Embarrassing yourself here pal. Mustafi cost noting and went on to play for Arsenal and Germany. Bosnar cost nothing. Oviedo cost peanuts and was decent cover. He would easily be out best left back now. Anderson Silva cost nothing. Andy Johnson was decent. All of the above losses are easily covered by the Fellaini profit let alone the Stones money.

I get what people have said anout moyes in the oast about transfers but was 10+ years ago, also will have a different scouting setup and a Dof thelwell now. Yes ofc will have a say but for me this window will still be heavily on thelwell becuase of the short time moyes been here,

No they weren't. There total cost together was less than Alan Shearer 10 years earlier. They were both pretty cheap. United and Liverpool were spending £35m plus on strikers at the same time.

Yes all that stuff needed to be done, but in terms of assessing what areas we need to strengthen, Moyes will have known that on day 1 in the job.

He had a better record than virtually any manager I can think off. Yobo, Cahill, Arteta, Pienaar, Jags, Lescott, Baines, Coleman, Stones, Fellaini is an absolutely insane spell of transfer genius. He was basically the Beatles of the transfer market during that period. Through in other ones like Distin, Heitinga, Donovan loan, Saha for peanuts and he really did own the transfer market for a long time.

Think bily was a bit of a disappointment but Moyes got production from him. Moyes was great though there is no doubt, part of it was we kept the good players as well.
