I would like us to make derisory offers for United players. Lets start with Mainoo and Garnacho.

The issue with clubs making derisory offers is when the players involved are highly likely to want to leave and become restless at not being allowed to talk to the bidding club despite them never having bid anywhere near an acceptable amount. Us making a derisory bid for a United player would just make us look stupid, if United had any sense they'd say yeah we accept it, then record the players' reaction when they told him and release it online to make us a complete laughing stock.

I’m just glad we didn’t spaff our load on a couple of fullbacks early in the window since we now have one fit want-away striker.

Means we can focus all our efforts on failing to bring a striker in instead.

Or just buy another centre half like week normally do.

Well with s striker you'd assume that they would have to go outside premier league experience or he's going to be mediocre not really any affordable or available proven strikers maybe wissa or the second striker from forest but doubt they'll sell them in Jan and both would be 30m at least

Centre half’s have became the new 3rd choice keeper who we’d sign every window and never see him make an appearance.
