Even the usual weasels haven’t really been tempted out of their burrows yet.

I reckon Sunday evening could be the moment we see some real frenzied weaselling.

I don't even know when the window 'slams shut'. Assumed it was Friday. Sunday it is for the following:

1) angst we've done nothing
2) angst we're linked to someone most know nothing about but wrote off
3) overexcitement from some for the same player
4) rage someone else has signed someone. Anyone.
5) slagging off anyone we do sign
6) the slim chance of signing someone and folk liking it.
