We need a striker, DCL will be flogged by the end of January. Getting one may prove difficult. Cenk is likely to get a run out soon.

Hopefully we can offload a few in January, and send a few on loan.

We really can't afford to offload many just in case. We've got a pretty thin squad at this point. I get like Bolasie and that type should go but Tosun and Bernard could be needed without much going wrong.

A fantastic season so far with very few changes from last year so I hope to see some strengthen to our centre midfield and attacking right wing.

Loans are the best way to go in January but could mean we wait until deadline day, February 1st, a total of 31 days or 5 Premier League fixtures and potentially 2 League Cup games (Semi final and Final) plus 2 FA Cup games too.

I'd love us to go out day one of the transfer market buy a defensive/central midfielder and winger plus striker but that would cost north of £50m.

Links to Dele, Isco and Khedira are interesting on loan but the most recent rumour would be Reading's Olise - french winger with 4 goals and 6 assist in 19 games.

We ain't getting Sarr or Lamptey for that money. We have Seamus coming back who was excellent to start season and Holgate and at worse Kenny for Rb.
Them 3 should be nowhere near the RB spot next season, holgate has done well in a defensive set up, but to really consistently challenge at the top end of the table, you need a much better attacking RB.

Kenny is not good enough, end of.

And Coleman did well at the start of the season, but isn’t great going forward anymore and is now getting regular injuries.

Is that you Kirkbride?

Has the priority changed with Allan's injury?

To my mind we needed a DM before yesterday but that need has been exacerbated now.
We still need a starting RB , cover at left back ( both perhaps less urgent now) , a RW and striker cover .

On the plus side WBA need a striker....step forward Cenk Tosun.
