We could have had Matt Doherty for just north of 10m last transfer window. Had he been available on Sunday with James in front of him, I do think the chances of a clean sheet at least would have been high. Opportunity lost there. So much for a network.

He’s 35. Not sure that would work.

one maybe good squad option for jan. Florin Thauvin from Marseille. I know they are in the champions league for now, but he’s out of contract next summer. And he’s improved a lot from the kid that struggled at Newcastle. He can play of the right or upfront.

just think on raw talent alone Holgate is the one

he’s still got lots of improvements to make but adding him back into that defence gives us some real pace there and he’s a snide too

I don’t put most of the goals we’re conceding down to Keane or Mina, but we are leaking them atm

We evidently dont play with a CB at RB either. The point was he would have offered an alternative. As would Holgate were he fit, but he wasnt.
