If we could offload Toshun, Bernard & Delph in January be it perms or loan deals and bring in Zaha/Bailey + Milik/King + Khedira the squad is massively strengthened.

I think it will be another one of those situations where Palace see Zaha worth more to them than what they could get selling him.

Please can someone explain the fascination with Zaha to me? it's 355 games 57 goals 42 assists. That is basically a 1 in 6 goal ratio and a 1 in 8 assist ratio. That is a very, very average record for a player who's club are going to want the best part of £50-60m for him regardless of his age.

It's not up to his agent though Zat. Also, he's an Arsenal lad, loves the club, and he's only 19 so I imagine he would feel he has time to see what happens at Arsenal.

I do wonder if we push the boat out for Isco. He's not the conventional right winger, but in terms of value would be much lower on a fee. Class player too, and would allow us to have at least of him and James in the team.

I quite like the balance that Iwobi is providing. It’s quite good to have two players on the flank with pace who can go both ways. I think Isco might end up trying to occupy the same areas that James/Siggurdson does.

I’d even be open to us doing a Lookman type deal. Pay decent money for a top talent from the championship or the continent with a view to him getting games in the second half of the season in a decent team but also being an asset going forward. I fear we dropped the ball a little bit letting both Vlasic and Lookman leave the club as arguably both would be getting game time.

If ever there was a season for a Kanchelskis type signing to play right wing for us this is it. If we somehow managed to get a real baller on that right flank and James came back in behind him DCL and Richarlison we could absolutely fly in the second half of the season with our solid defence. Similar to Liverpool 12/13 when they brought in Coutinho and Sturridge in January and suddenly paired them with Suarez.

You have ignored the fact that other , more appetising clubs like , let's see , United , Chelsea, City , Bayern ,Real and Barca might be in for him. @H.H. no disrespect but can't see the Arse selling to your lot.
