I won't be able to understand the thinking behind getting Ancelotti and James in, only to allow the season to slowly drift away (which it will) if we fail to improve the squad this month when not only is a Champions League place well and truly up for grabs, but the kin Premier League title too.

It's there for whoever puts their hands in their pocket and gets a squad capable of grinding out a title victory.

Arsenal offering 15m for Buendia which is at best half of what Norwich want. It won't work out this window but they'll be able to tell the fans that they tried. I wonder where Arteta learned that move?

Buendia would be a good fit for them. They need creativity and to fill the Ozil sized hole in the squad.
