Worth 10 mil, not better than iwobi, Bernard and the other trash we have?
This winds me up.

It was the same when we had Anichebe, people would use him as an example.

You don't improve the worst player in your team.

You should be looking to improve on the BEST.

Im better than Iwobi and Bernard, being better than utter garbo isn't a reason to sign somebody.

Hes 29 mate, hes played once in England and bombed.

Im sure hes a talented boy and I've never watched him play, but its not me you need to impress.

That Toney from Brentford is an odd one - 24 and only really done it in the Fizzy Pop League yet would likely cost around £25 million in the current market.

Think for that kind of dough you could find someone more proven and less of a risk.

To think, for just 5mil more you could get Moise Kean (which to some, we should snap their hand off for that price)

I think he started out at Newcastle.

According to wiki played 2 games for them and no goals - his record hasn't really been that impressive looking at that up until he signed for Peterborough in 2018 in which since then he's been prolific.

Turns 25 in March though and not really been tested in a decent standard of league so a big risk - thats the problem these days championship clubs can hold out for £25-30 million for players.

Think someone like Milik for a nominal fee with 6 months left on his deal would make more sense if we were looking at peddling Toshun and bringing in a back up forward to DCL.

Think Milik would be a terrible idea.

Wanted him before he went to Napoli, but hes stunk the place out there and also had knee his rebuilt 7 or 8 times.

Massive gamble.

I hate it when people bring up age... I’m not even going to name them all but Ronaldo, zlatan, Buffon, Thiago silva... I would sign him for 10mil even to have on the bench.

He’s had a chance in England, so did Kevin de Bruyne at Chelsea , he probably wasn’t as developed now he’s blossomed and playing at his peak at 29. Like Danny Ings at soton

Point is, the 20 year old Italian international starting striker for PSG who's got 9 in 16 (or whatever) costs 30mil. 25 for some 24 year old championship striker doesn't seem good business compared to that.
We got Hamez for free and paid 45m for Iceland.

All deals have to be done in context.

Kean is a useless asset for us, we sadly have to take what we can.
