I wouldnt worry about Josh King or Philipe Anderson, we arent signing anyone.....

Not till deadline day and it will be a panic loan or buy where we pay over the odds.

Just been on a Bournemouth research mission. There is no love lost between King and Bournemouth. King informed Bournemouth that he would not sign another contract with them over a year ago, when Man Utd were being linked with him, believe it or not.

Bournemouth now have one last chance to make some money from selling him or losing him for absolutely nothing like they did with Frazer in the summer.

They are however right near the top of the championship with the joint second best defensive record in their league. Defence isn’t really an area that they need to improve upon right now. However, they would likely see Kenny as an investment, whose value could increase.

If PSG actually signed Kean in January, I could see us signing a big player.

The only reason PSG would sign Kean now is if they feel that another club could come in for Kean in the summer.

Otherwise, they will just wait until the summer and keep the injury risk hanging over our heads rather than their’s.

King being better than Tosun does not mean we should sign him...and I actually advocated for bringing him on in the last days of the summer transfer window. But now my vote is to go abroad or sign a young player from the Championship to backup DCL.
