More paper talk today of Everton going in for Felipe Anderson. I obviously haven't seen him play but if Porto aren't keen to keep him and even West Ham don't want him back then I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. I don't want to be signing players that other teams don't want. I want to be going in hard for a decent teams best player and giving them an incentive to leave. We're never going to improve by signing cast-offs.

Better than Bernard for sure...short term loan with an option to buy would be ideal

He had a cracking first season with West Ham (18-19, 40apps 10 goals) and then was obviously linked with the likes of the RS etc, but then lost form and only played in the first team now and again. He's definitely talented and probably needs the right manager to coax it back out of him. We all know Moyes has never been keen on flair players only grafters. For all our possession some times, we could just do with a bit of magic now and again to unlock a defence. From memory he seemed to play left side and scored a few long rangers. If we're serious about him, loan only to end of season and see how he does.

Maybe a loan to buy if he proves himself, has pace, skill especially in his first year for West Ham, could be a good first option off the bench. Need to see if he has the workrate and application for our great club, I mean even I couldn't be arsed at West Ham.

Yeah. He was a very good prospect on FootballManager a couple of years back, i assume thats why.

He has had situations in his career where he has managed two equally matched goalkeepers and he found that rather than picking one to the exclusion of the other he found that by rotating both that he had two keepers ready to play and whereas the goalkeepers accepted it rather than liked it Ancelotti found it worked well.
