Exactly. If they say nah in the end, pick Aguero up on a free then we're left with an unhappy Kean who's not suited to the club or the league. I can't imagine there'll be too many other clubs queening up to sign him for the prices people are asking on here.

Any profit on Kean is a good deal.

You could be right , but then again PSG might be preparing for life after Mbappe joins Real.

If King is out of contract in the summer, can we safely assume that either:

a) Bournemouth don't want to re-sign him; or
b) He doesn't want to stay with them?

If so, then actually they may well loan him out now until May/June IF we agree to cover a portion of his current wages... and from our point of view I would be happy to pay his CURRENT wages for the next five months on loan and have him available NOW. He's a better fit with the style of play and tactics Carlo wants to use than Tosun is, and I bet his current wage is lower than Tosun's.

I don't want to buy him, because not only would we have to pay a transfer fee but also he will want a jump in wages. At that point, he may well end up costing MORE than Tosun and that would clearly be a silly thing for us to do.

But why would Bournemouth loan him out for the last 5 months of his contact?

If he is in last 5 months he is allowed to sign pre contact now and leave on a free in the summer. So if they loan him out they get some or all his wages of the bill for 5 months. Best for them to try and sell but he will probably stay, because he can getting a bigger sign on bonus at his new club his if leaves for free.

Didn't he only just start scoring for them after not being up to much in the league - which indicates that he isn't really pulling up any trees at the moment and we should forget about him? Anyway I think it's a moot point as I can't see Ancelotti banging on Brands' desk demanding a Josh King transfer this January.

Hopefully, I'd be disappointed if Ancelotti is as daft as some of the posters on here
