Jephcott is a very interesting player. Scoring freely in D1 for Plymouth. Very young but good physique and a natural finisher. Well worth a punt before his value goes through the roof but nowhere near rwdh for our 1st team.
Iwobi’s recent form has been brilliant and might mean that we need more of an out and out striker to compete with DCL, like Milik, rather than a flexible forward.
I’d take either as we need competition.
I don't recall him mentioning Milik by name but i seem to remember him commenting on both Kean and Iwobi and their versatility to play anywhere across the front 3. I think Milik is an out and out striker but i may be (and probably am) wrong...not sure where these Milik links come from, but I seem to recall Ancelotti saying he’s a player he wouldn’t be interested in as he wants ‘counter-attacking’ strikers. Saying that, I am very old and might be confusing with a different player.
I was born in Plymouth and although I have lived up here for over 40 years I always taken a keen interest in their team. So I've watched quite a few highlights of him although like about the rest of the planet I've not seen him play live for Argyle.Oh I don't know anything about him other than he's scored a bit and is only 20.
If he wants counter attacking players then we need pace-merchants. No idea who that is....not sure where these Milik links come from, but I seem to recall Ancelotti saying he’s a player he wouldn’t be interested in as he wants ‘counter-attacking’ strikers. You don't think it was a slow count?
Wilf Zaha ticks all boxes. Just think of the penalties we'd get..If he wants counter attacking players then we need pace-merchants. No idea who that is.
Problem with counter attacking players and strikers are the matches against the West Ham/Newscastles of the Premier League where sit back and we need someone with technique who can get something out of almost nothing.
The only player I can think of who has the flexibility to play all 3 forward positions, pace and sufficient quality ( who could be remotely attainable) is Zaha.If he wants counter attacking players then we need pace-merchants. No idea who that is.

This is Everton. We got Richarlison who was the most fouled player in the league at Watford and, suddenly, he got no fouls called for him. We had 2 penalties last year and I think 2 this year.Wilf Zaha ticks all boxes. Just think of the penalties we'd get..
I think you might be right, I vaguely remember that but he doesn't usually give much away. Milik is just a lazy pick from me given his availability and Carlo's time with him....not sure where these Milik links come from, but I seem to recall Ancelotti saying he’s a player he wouldn’t be interested in as he wants ‘counter-attacking’ strikers. We have had 4 league pens since the Burnley 5-1 away win on boxing day 2018 lolThis is Everton. We got Richarlison who was the most fouled player in the league at Watford and, suddenly, he got no fouls called for him. We had 2 penalties last year and I think 2 this year.
We just don't get penalties.
leon Bailey is a cheaper one and younger who can play all 3 forward positions and he's faster than zaha. The only player I can think of who has the flexibility to play all 3 forward positions, pace and sufficient quality ( who could be remotely attainable) is Zaha.
I'm sure that there are other younger, cheaper players in Europe or around the world who might fit the bill but I cant think of them.
Theres enough talk about Carlo and Milik not being the best fit together that im always so confused people keep bringing him up. If we wanted him, Im sure he’d be here or at least would have a precontract signed....not sure where these Milik links come from, but I seem to recall Ancelotti saying he’s a player he wouldn’t be interested in as he wants ‘counter-attacking’ strikers.
