...not sure where these Milik links come from, but I seem to recall Ancelotti saying he’s a player he wouldn’t be interested in as he wants ‘counter-attacking’ strikers. Saying that, I am very old and might be confusing with a different player.

I don't recall him mentioning Milik by name but i seem to remember him commenting on both Kean and Iwobi and their versatility to play anywhere across the front 3. I think Milik is an out and out striker but i may be (and probably am) wrong
I was born in Plymouth and although I have lived up here for over 40 years I always taken a keen interest in their team. So I've watched quite a few highlights of him although like about the rest of the planet I've not seen him play live for Argyle.
Safe to say that from what I have seen he will soon be snapped up by a higher league side.
He is young and raw but his finishing is excellent and god forbid reminds me a bit of Ian Rush.
He has already been capped by Wales at u21 and I suspect will be a full international very soon.
You could get him now for around £1/2 million but that will shoot up if he continues to bag.
As I said before he is very much one for the future and not ready for our 1st team.
He will need to develop physically ( just fill out a bit) and add visio and awareness of team mates to his game but he really does have a chance of being a player.
If he wants counter attacking players then we need pace-merchants. No idea who that is.
Problem with counter attacking players and strikers are the matches against the West Ham/Newscastles of the Premier League where sit back and we need someone with technique who can get something out of almost nothing.

Wilf Zaha ticks all boxes. Just think of the penalties we'd get..
The only player I can think of who has the flexibility to play all 3 forward positions, pace and sufficient quality ( who could be remotely attainable) is Zaha.
I'm sure that there are other younger, cheaper players in Europe or around the world who might fit the bill but I cant think of them.
This is Everton. We got Richarlison who was the most fouled player in the league at Watford and, suddenly, he got no fouls called for him. We had 2 penalties last year and I think 2 this year.
We just don't get penalties.

I think you might be right, I vaguely remember that but he doesn't usually give much away. Milik is just a lazy pick from me given his availability and Carlo's time with him.
