Even Ancelotti has said he's not crazy about doing business this January. If this is their decision then there is a reason behind it. Where's you may think its short sighted those 2 are actually looking at the bigger picture in terms of shaping the squad. To bring in any old player in January just to satisfy the fans would be far more short sighted.

Well thats not what I said now Ted is it. We've a great opportunity to finish top 4, anything happens to DCL we're screwed. Its risk reward of course but disappointing all the same. At least its not being dragged out until the end of the window.

Maybe Brands is hinting at a loan only window.
