Lamptey is exquisite going forward but a lot of people don't take account for the fact he's a hobbit, the same height as Barnard (5,5). I think need more of a physical presence for a defender in my opinion. There's better more affordable options that exist I would hope.

Yep. Gets away with his lack of height because Brighton play 3 grocks at centre back. Looks decent going forward due to him playing as a wing back. He'd be targeted all day long at right back.

I mean, I'm not an Aarons fan but, with how tight the league is, just one win could really be the difference between 4th and 8th this year. Having a competent RB COULD be the difference in winning a match, no?

One of my favorite things about this Aarons thing is how a lot of places list him as being something like 5'9 or 5'10. Pretty much always the same height as Todd Cantwell and Jamal Lewis. Which is hilarious because he's just obviously like 3 inches shorter in every picture with any of them together.

I wouldn't gamble 30m on it. And that also assumes a lot about Aarons tbh.

We proactively got Ben Godfrey.

I'd much rather play Godfrey (huge and rapid) at right back than someone the size of Lamptey - when we have Digne on the left.
