Well, my question was what positions do we need to strengthen in order that we have the squad size which brands wants while not really carrying deadweight.

So technically, we sont need a GK, CB, RW...i mean Jamea/Iwobi play on the right and we have 5 centre backs.

We actually just need a right back, centre midfielder (or two) and a centre forward.

Just 3 players

exactly... winning teams don’t need the best in the world or league in every position... every position must be quality ... but they do have a world class spine...

Throw just Neymar and KDB into the team and I’m pushing us as title contenders. Can we get them .. obviously not but it’s not always about the numbers... it’s more about the quality of those key positions: striker, creator, ball winner... and keeper

Do you apply this logic to Leicester title winning team ?

Only because I know the likes of Drinkwater, Huth and Morgan would never be seen as World Class. Imagine the fume if we'd ever been in for them off the basis of being title winners. Schmeichel, Kante and Vardy maybe in the World Class bracket. However I think they were just a team very attuned to each other.

Iwobi is not good enough for a title winning squad ,which is what Moshiri and Ancelotti want
He and 12-14 others need to be punted ,but it will take time a whole lot of time and a whole lot of money ........................

We’re not even in Europe yet let alone title challengers. He’s good enough for where we are right now which is all that matters.

Youre still talking about a title...i see.

Before you go for a title you really need to have a top 4 level squad. Once you have that then you can add 2 players a season (which brands has mentioned before) to kick you on.

For us to have a top 4 squad we need RB/CM and CF players. Probably two centre mids so 4 players.

If we can sell and moshiri pumps in more cash we could probably get the 4 in during summer.

And playing to their collective strength

Precisely describes our 1985 title winning side.
They simply just clicked as one.
