His pass completion is good, his tackling is good, his Interceptions is good, he wins his duels and he wins us more fouls then he gives away. The lads a squad player and I know he can he frustrating some times but people need to reel it in on the kid.

The lad isn't amazing but this myth that he is completely useless is boring now. Its just nothing more then agenda on the lad. The facts clearly point out that he's doing well since he was moved to a more defensive position in midfield.

The fact that you claim that he regularly gets booked when he's only received one yellow card this season really does epitomises your post tbh.

mid you can’t see how slow our Cm is and how he create nothing , are pedestrian , don’t score , get over run and can’t press teams into mistakes in the middle of the pitch then I don’t know what else to say. Gomes is guilty of the same flaws too but making out davies is somehow doing well is not accurate imo

Because quite simply hes not there to be creative he's a defensive midfielder. His job is to win the ball back in our defensive third and pass it on. Which he is doing.

If you're expecting a defensive midfielder to go on runs with the ball, scoring goals and getting assist then thats your issue Because that's not what ancelotti has put davies in the team for. What he has put him in the team for he's doing, he's not amazing at it by any stretch but he is doing a decent job.

I agree the odd stat taken out of context such as your example of sigurdssons chance creation means nothing. I remember Phil nevile having the best passing stat in the league because he only ever passed it backwards to the defenders.

These aren't a odd stat though I put all of the significant stats for the roll that he has in the team and he is doing well at it. The issue is as you said though he is slow and so is gomes so they as a pair find it hard to get around the pitch as a pair.

I wouldn't be surprised if ancelotti kept with a midfield of, allan, Doucoure and davies for the rest of the season.

If we bank £15mil for them and circa £250k a week in wages then we'd be doing very well.

Lets not forget that we also have Kean on loan who (despite rumours) is still our player and hasnt been sold.

If we can keep our powder dry until the summer then we'll be seeing a lot of good value deals which we can take advantage of.

Not sure how you’ve grouped those 5 in “WF” Zat, there’s one proper striker there and it’s DCL.
