It's a bit different when it's effectively a non-profit fan forum though in my opinion.

That's assuming @GrandOldTeam isn't becoming a secret millionaire from this place..

Sorry, my point is that if they want to protect their sole use of the crest or other bits and bobs they have to ge seen to enforce it against everyone. It they don't the counterfeiter has an argument that says it is not a protected image at all.

The alternative would be for them to license its use to GOT for peppercorn payment.

I think the club are not being heavy handed here. They are trying to be sensible about it.

I often wonder would Everton take its fans to court over posting the crest on here what a media disaster that would be.

Least line resistance though, I understand.

I would like to also request that Everton do not use the term Eberton, Ted, Gash, bleach, belter, touch down, jars and my avatar on any of their sites, media or merchandise. I would also kindly ask Everton to bring this to the attention of their board as a gentle reminder.
