Reports: £10M bid accepted via GrandOldTeam

Everton have had a bid accepted for Standard Liege’s Ishak Belfodil, according to DH.be in Belgium.

Everton’s initial offer of £8m was rejected by Liege but a £10m bid is now reported to have been accepted.

Belfodil began his career in France with Lyon, before several stints in Italy with Bologna, Parma, Livorno and Inter.

A move to UAE side Baniyas Club kick-started his career in 2015 however, with the move to Liege following last summer where he has scored nine times across domestic and European fixtures.

Everton are close to competing a move for Algeria striker Ishak Belfodil after agreeing a £10.4m fee with Standard Liège.

Steve Walsh, Everton’s director of football, has already signed Ademola Lookman from Charlton for £10m in this window and is also set to complete the transfer of Morgan Schneiderlin from Manchester United for an initial £22m after he arrived for a medical on Wednesday.
