Everton urged to end StubHub ticket partnership by supporters trust via The Guardian

• Trust fears fans can be exploited on the online ticket exchange
• Club urged to seek fairer solution to secondary ticket sales
The Everton Supporters Trust has urged the club to end their partnership with StubHub amid claims fans can be exploited on the online ticket exchange.

Everton have been widely praised for a progressive ticketing policy that has meant season ticket prices are frozen and in some cases reduced for the 2017‑18 campaign. Following consultations with Everton’s Fans’ Forum and Junior Fans’ Forum the club have introduced a new, young adult season ticket for next season costing £380 for those aged 22-24 while its Kids’ season ticket costs £95, the equivalent of £5 per game.

Everton agree deal to purchase waterfront site at Bramley Moore dock via The Guardian

• Full announcement scheduled after Thursday’s council meeting
• Merseyside club to acquire land once stadium is in place

Everton have cleared the first hurdle in their attempt to build a new stadium on Liverpool’s waterfront by agreeing a deal to purchase land at Bramley Moore dock.

The Merseyside club have reached a financial agreement with Peel Holdings, the landowner, for their preferred location for a new home after 125 years at Goodison Park. No details of the deal with Peel have been disclosed, or about how Liverpool City Council will help facilitate the construction of a state-of-the-art stadium on north Liverpool docks. An announcement is expected on Thursday, following a council meeting.
