Everton, our summer transfers and short term cost control regulations

That's possible mate but I suspect the greatest value in the sponsorship deals is in the future rather than now.

So a successful season, progress on the stadium, higher profile by end of 2016/17 would reap much higher benefits than a dash for cash now.

Will be interesting to see how they achieve it.

No accountant myself, but I've seen enough numbers to know that there is a lot of flexibility within truth-telling to provide the summary you want.

Or, as the scientists say: if you torture the data long enough, they will tell you anything you want.

Seems like with enough cleverness and foresight, even this £7m cap problem can be resolved. What's Moshiri's professional background again?

They are well under way now mate, every vital initial task has been taken, new manager, high profile signings and plans being drawn up for a new stadium. The icing on the cake will be a trophy and fans getting right behind the team from the off hence we must play our part. Its not out of the question for the loan to have been moved offshore with guarantees coming from a certain wealthy gentleman.

Anyone got a suggestion for the name of the stadium. I absolutely certain it will not Goodison but some business with spare cash, Coke-drome, Carslberg Park or Groucho Garden

Imagine we won a trophy mate the roof would blow of Goodison, the petrol just needs a match.

Just a thought regarding this...
Does the £7m wage increase restriction run in line with the financial year or with the football season?

We must be saving a decent amount on wages at the moment having not brought in anyone yet and having let go a few decent earners.

Could delaying our transfers enable us to have more to play with in the long run?
