Everton player you disliked the most

same! the most amazing match i've ever seen...never went so ballistic as in that one, each equaliser more nuts than the last. Proper never-say-die attitude...and we won the replay!

Cottee came on and did what he always did for us...slot goals.

Then we lost in the next round to West Ham, FFS.

Alexandersson. No creativity, no effort, no passion. Typified us at the time. Rubbish player in a rubbish kit that looked like Birmingham. It was hard work being an Evertonian then.

Pistone. I thought he was ok before he joined us but I have ever seen a player give the ball away so frequently as this No.3.

Stubbs scored free kicks against Man United and Spurs, too.

I was sitting beside a kid with an very loud air horn in the family enclosure. As soon as stubbs hit it he let the air horn off and it stiffled van der sar. I remember when it went in the keeper pointed over to us in the stand, his family grabbed the air horn to hide it. I have never seen footage of it because it was a terrible terrible day if you can remember? But yeah, I **** you not.

Hated Barmby, anyone remember how he used to bring his kid on wearing an Everton shirt and when he went across to the dark side he would bring him on wearing the r/s shirt, then he did the same at Hull, that kid must have ended up very confused, also think his mother was about 20 years older than Barmby, bell of the highest order, horrible little ++++

I think this guy who posted this in the year 2000 agrees

Nah, Earl was a superb defender...absolute quality defensively

Pistone is one who I immensely disliked. I was made up when he left after his contract ran out....and then we signed him back!

I think I'm one of the few who liked Sandro...he was a talented player wh0 in his early days in Italy was dubbed 'the new Maldini'. He was ravaged by injury while at Everton and for a lot of the time he had Kilbane in front of him, and although Kevin was likeable, he did not understand the basic idea of 'overlapping full back'. Pistone was top of the Opta passing stats at one time, and his only(I think) goal for Everton was an absolute screamer . He hit the ball and it rebounded straight back to him, so he hit it even straighter and harder into the net.(vid of that would be great !)

I remember years ago some of my mates geting ale bought them by John Bailey and Steve McMahon asking, without any attempt to keep his voice down, "Why are you wasting your money on these no-marks?"

Hated him from that day on. Was glad when he left. Laughed and laughed when he gave that "One minute to go" signal to his RS team mates before Michael Thomas pished on ihs chips.

One of life's dislikable ones, Stevie Mac. And to think I'd chant his name as a teeneager.

Maybe you've just answered my question.
