Really? Is it like officially registered at the Office of Facts?

I'm in the US and know maybe 20 people who follow "association football". I think almost all of them support either Arsenal, Liverpool or Barcelona. I've never heard any of them mention Celtic in any context. I'd bet most don't know who they are at all, but I can't swear to that.

New York Celtic supporters club, one of many in the states.

On Twitter, Celtic have 591K followers. Everton have 1.6M and the RS have 10.5M.

Think that shows how big Celtic are on a global platform given that 'followers' online tend to try and attach themselves to something viewed as popular. Scottish football is not popular globally and in comparison to English clubs or those from other top leagues like La Liga and Serie A, Celtic aren't either.

In Scotland and Ireland it's obviously a different matter and they are a huge club, including a massive matchgoing fanbase proven by their numbers home and away.

TBF Celtic was more popular than RS in the states at one point according to Google Trends, about as good a barometer as Twitter id say.

RS clearly the bigger side now though.

Being popular on twitter is like being a popular plumber, literally nobody is arsed.

So when is he joining Spurs? Going for it to be all over the news for next few weeks that we're either mulling, considering or about to launch a bid, only for Spurs to confirm his signing completely under the radar a day after we're supposed to actually lodge a bid.

Jebus, how long are we being poised to make a bid, would have cramp in every muscle tensing this long

The vein in contracts Dave's neck would have exploded........

So, basically there is no offer, just click bait rubbish!

Seemingly like every other link we've had up to now then. Think I will just enjoy the world cup right now and wait for something concrete, like an actual official bid for someone.

I think I'd just prefer Robinson be given a chance, he's a full international now, time for him to step up.

Martina is a full international though, not a good barometer at all.

I like the look of Robinson but he only played LWB for Bolton in the bottom half of the Championship.

It would be a big risk having him as our 2nd choice LB and he won't get enough game time as 3rd choice, hence the loan.

He's 20 now, the injury didn't help but he's had a season in the Championship and when played for the USA full team, acquitted himself well from what I read. Not saying he should be first choice but I think he should definitely be given a good look at pre-season to see where he is in terms of development now. This could be his breakthrough year.

I know nothing of KT, it's unfortunate that the quality of the Scottish league has plummeted, some of the most successful players and managers over the years came from North of the border but it's so hard to judge these days.
