Our midfield is non existent and what the hell is the problem on our left side allowing several players to do as they wish against us.

Even in pre-season Everton can just suck any hope or life out of you. And some people say we don't need signings!

Surely this highlights the need for someone who tackles in midfield? They are just waltzing through and taking pot shots at goal. We need someone in midfield that spots the danger and kills it before it’s anywhere near our goal. Davies, Doucoure and Iwobi are just running round like lost sheep, looking busy but nog really doing anything.

We've got a midfield who are absolutely woeful and then a front 3 with no chemistry or balance. Chuck in a Michael Keane and it's a recipe for disaster.

I don't think anyone can come away from that half and say they've done their job which is disgraceful tbh

We could genuinely buy Minnesotas entire midfield for about 10mil and actually be better for it. Let’s try that at halftime. They can also pick anyone they want as an add on.

Just dont get the shape of the team at all the mid 3 all over the place. Davies just not cut out to be first choice as the dm but not had any help from iwobi and dacoure. Then gray/gordon to high up the pitch need to track back more to help us defensively. That is what we will get from patterson this season will make mistakes
