Wowzer. Forgot we even had a game, and just woke up to see that score. Back-pedalled through this thread to check that we started with a bunch of kids but nope, full-strength.

Checked to see if the 22/23 relegation thread has started yet. It has.

Love the reverse psychology vibe, my day off today and looking at todays result having got up at 5am has knocked my positively and its only pre season I know but I think it's a pre curser to what's to come that hurts the most. Gonna visit spoons for a breakfast pint whilst discussing another season of joy and wonderment with some fellow Evertonians.

I genuinely used to believe as a kid that our preseason fortunes were inversely proportionate to our season ones. We’d have a decent preseason, get excited and then have a stinker in the league and vice versa.

I’ve been laughing since I woke up in some desperate attempt to hide my utter disgust and fear for this bunch of clowns going into the new season.

Just woke up in the most beautiful place I’ve ever been on holiday and I’ve seen the Everton have been webbed by Minnesota’s worst sports team (yes I include the Twins in this).

Only Everton could spoil this.
