Its interesting mate, but where are your figures for wages from?

I cant imagine Leeds only spend 425k per week on wages.
They dont.

The below rankings show the cost per point in wages spent for each of the 20 Premier League clubs last season. With Everton coming in at 3rd highest wage expenditure per point, behind only Chelsea and Manchester United. It makes for rather grim reading.
...yes, a woefully high dividend and woefully low divisor will amount to a woefully high quotient.

Surprised at the reds there, I thought all their players got paid in hugs.

Our wage bills is not terrible. It's the end product that's the problem.

If you make a general assumption that the highest earners were on circa £100K per week and the lowest £50K - with a handful of younger signings and youth products (Branthwaite, Nkounkou, Kenny, Gordon) plus reserve keepers and the like on a bit less then you arrive at about £1.7M per week (or the £85M stated). There's no way our better players were on much more (or much less) than £100K per week.

By Premier League standards that's relatively normal.

The problem has been the injury list and the less than stellar results which, last season apart, have been "average or thereabouts" - last season just can't be repeated.

It will be a significantly better ranking next season. I'm confident we'll get 45 points at the least (which would mean no relegation battle) and our wage bill will be much lower now a few dossers have offiicially left. Anywhere close to £1m-per-point usually points to a very healthy club (Wolves, West Ham, Spurs, etc).
