Don't know if it's been mentioned before , but the supermodel co-host on Alan Partridges original radio show , the American episode , was called.....

Kendall Ball

There was a tv series in the late 70's called Hazell starring Nicholas Ball. I think it was a detective series.
Everton was a character (murder victim i think). This episode was co written by Terry Venables.
I believe Hazell was enquiring if the victim was named after the club. I know Everton as a first name was popular with Afro Caribbean people

a restaurant opened at the end of my road (bethnal green road east london) called 'Everton's'. Couldnt believe it. Shut down within a few months. There is now a food shop called 'Ecol Food Centre' and has EFC plastered everywhere so thats kind of made up for it.

Seen a few Weller gigs in the past, and Damon Minchella had the Everton crest and an Italy scarf on his amp.

Seem to remember the programme Time gentlemen please, I think the barman used to have an Everton scarf.

there was a festival in i think 1991. Headlined by the wonder stuff at bescott staduim walsall. on the back of the programme someone printed a massive everton badge (well a4 i think). i remember reading about it in NME

From what I can gather, Shankly had given more emphasis to succeeding in Europe than Catterick ever did. Liverpool had some big games in Europe in the 60s and nearly made the breakthrough on the continent a lot earlier than they eventually did in the early to mid 70s.

"Oh, twas my delight on a Wednesday night when Inter Milan scored three" (to the tune of the Lincolnshire Poacher).

As sung at the subsequent derby sometime in the mid sixities.

"when Everton unexpectedly made the finals of the FA cup in 2009........"

Liverpool fan wrote this?

If the Theory of Inevitable Disappointment holds true, it's almost certain that any senseless and utterly useless literature most likely comes from the pen of an LFC supporter. Usually one from Plymouth.

Damon Minchella (Ocean Colour Scene) is a top blue and I believe used to be a regular visitor to the Winslow before a match. I say used to, he may still do........ who knows..........
