When I was on holidays a few weeks ago I caught the second half of the Sunderland game. There was a fellow blue & his wife watching the game beside me. Naturally we started chatting and as it turned out he was a very very good friend of Peter Reid. Showed me a load of pictures of him hanging out with the 86/87 team back then and now. Also told me a few short tales involving alcohol, cars and women. Sounded like things were ever so slightly different back then, with the booze at least. Certain players going to training or games with very little, if any, sleep after an all night session.. and still hammering other teams!



Oh, also. My Dad took inspiration for my name from Colin Harvey. That counts surely, sort of.
