This could go badly wrong very quickly, lots of fans really unhappy before he's even in the door. Lose 3/4 games on the trot and it could get properly poisonous.

The mutants defending him in that thread is sickening.

We stay up and Sam is seen as an escape artist again, when in fact any half competent manager could get us mid table with ease.

Nobody tends to address his failures when arrives, failing to win x amount of games.

He’s a con man and good old stevie boy as got his bud in and will lead us into 2018

it's very well known that he has often been the pioneer in regards to sports science. He's embraced the innovation in that field.

Could be something that helps improve the physical & mental fitness within our team.

Our squad is a lopsided mess. We've set up for an injury crisis to our attacking midfielders and nowhere else. Then decided to build a first team set up for a focal point striker but forgot to sign one.
 
The worst bit isn't that we're appointing a really average, corrupt manager. Nor that we've essentially just sacked Koeman to replace him with Allardyce, and given points away to poor teams in the process. It's the indication of just where the ambition level at Everton is. Which players will be looking at EFC now and thinking 'that's a forward-thinking club I want to play for'? Somehow we've pitched ourselves back to 2002 in the space of a few months. Truly remarkable achievement.

Not quite, he was one of the first to proper utilise it 15 years ago. Every club as a sports science department now, we have ours all the way through to the academy. Monitoring the progression of the kids and how they develop.

He’s not a progressive manager, he’s a useless fat tit
