Disagree completely. You don’t work your @rse off spending weeks/months to agree a fee only to then find out the player doesn’t want to join.

Despite all the “not allowed to speak to the player without our permission” bravado, ALL players will have been spoken to and had terms offered/agreed before the work starts on agreeing fees with clubs.

It’s completely naive to think otherwise.

They'll have confirmed interest but doing the whole negotiation without talking to the club is not what happens and I think not allowed. I know there's back channeling with agents but if we haven't talked to Gremio yet it isn't close to done or even necessarily happening.
