As someone else pointed out, it can't close until all the major leagues have started.

The only way round it would be to have Serie A, the EPL, La Liga, the Bundesliga, La Ligue and a few more start on the same day.

But I don't mind the transfer window.

At least you know the speculation has a cut off point.
