Just got a phone call saying that the stewards have just received a letter off BK thanking them for their service and wishing them all the best in the future.
Is BK going, is he sacking all the stewards or is it cheese on toast.

I cant imagine that the Stewards would be the first to be notified when Bill leaves. I would imagine there would be a press conference first. In actual fact, I would imagine there would we six days of speculation on Sky Sports news first, with a man stationed live outside the ground, who they go back to every hour, just to see if anything has changed!

This letter probably relates to the stewards directly, maybe they are being outsourced (if they are not already outsourced)

When I was a steward you'd be released and offered the job again during the summer. Probably a fiddle to avoid something daft like pension contributions, I dunno.
