Interesting, so it would be Greaves to replace Branthwaite, and Szmodics to replace Doucoure. Kind of crazy to score 25 and not be a striker, though also crazy it didnt happen until he was 28...

This thread has mentioned Greaves as a possible Branthwaite replacement before. I think it would be wise business. Hes a good target. Szmodics at 28 not quite as interested but no less about him. But whoever ends up with Greaves will be making i think a wise bet.

Yes, I would assume that has to be the case. Would be nonsense to do it based purely on the sale price at those high prices, no sane team would agree to those transfers.

A bit different than when you buy a young player for 2m from a much smaller club, and years later they sell for 30m.
