Seriously what is the point of signing young , inexperienced , progressive players with Dyche in charge?

Possibly its because due to the clubs current financial predicament we need players who can offer some sort of return (if need be) Dyche's preferred types are probably more experienced, with higher wages and at the moment that doesn't suit us. It is an awkward situation as it could lead to disconnect between the DoF and manager but at the end of the day Thelwell has to think long term and Dyche could theoretically leave next week.

Getting a young, exciting RW in before the window closes would give the fanbase a big boost. Thelwell et al should be doing all they can to make that happen.

Very limited player. Isn't good as a 6 or an 8. Does score goals behind the striker but isn’t creative at all.

Late 20s, big fee, big wages, PL experience.

Bar the goals, this is exactly the kins of transfer we should be avoiding.

The transfer would.also mean the indefinite shunting of Lindstrom and NDiaye to the wings when neither are wingers. Also, Dyche would not be dropping Harrison or McNeil for them. Worse still, he might try McTominay as a 6 or an 8.

Been thinking about this a lot the last 24 hours - absolute priority for me.

I think McNeill needs to come out of the team and Harrison to the left, the right doesn't suit him at all and we need that right winger - would give us far better balance.

Im going to rebut this mate Branthwaite, Garner, Dobbin, Chermitti, Simms and TimO at the weekend have all been handed massive PL oppurtuites under Dyche and there are more and hes only been at the club a year and a half - has there been another manager who has done more in terms of opportunities for young players coming into the PL................

He's in final year of his contract so I wouldn't be surprised if he's sold
